Green set for Boston switch

Word has reached us here theimps.tk that striker Francis Green is set to complete a loan move to Boston on Monday. The loan move will last until New Years Day where it is believed that Keith Alexander will let him go to Boston for a nominal fee after failing to win a first team place.

Green has struggled to get a first team place this season after several comments in the local press regarding Keith's tactics and despite netting in the 5-4 defeat at Fulham, Green hasn't been a regular figure this season. This despite of being in the squad near enough all the time since his transfer from Peterborough in September 2003.

Green said in the Lincolnshire Echo that he would consider a loan move if it came along and Boston have been quick to snap up a striker who they were reportedly interested in signing during the summer. The loan move is believed to include a clause that means Green can't play against the Imps on boxing day.
