Brighton's Meheta Molango, currently on loan at Sincil Bank, has been told by the Seagulls that he has no future on the coast. The striker is currently on a season long loan deal, but has started just 5 games, making a furthur 5 from the subs bench but he will not be one of Keith's transfer targets.

 

Molango joined the Imps during the pre-season after scoring impressive goals against Gainsborough, Boston Town and Lincoln United, despite this, he has failed to hold down a regular first team place and has 1 goal from his 10 matches for the Imps. The player has turned out to be a disappointment whilst on loan and Brighton appear unwilling to renew his contract, which expires in the summer, ironic considering he scored just 12 seconds into his debut game in England.

The former Athletico Madrid striker was told on Friday that he has no future at Brighton, meaning that we might see him put in a lot more effort in training and on the pitch in an attempt to get Keith to sign him, however, with Keith having an apparantly hefty transfer budget for the January transfer window, it is highly unlikely that he will make a bid for the striker. It is likely that a non-league club will come in for a striker, with several apparantly interested in securing his services permanently in the transfer window.

Overall, Molango has been the most disappointing of the players who came in during the summer and to be quite honest, I'd be surprised if Keith doesn't send him back to Brighton in January.
