Stubbs joins the Imps academy

Lincoln City have brought their first player of the summer, bringing in Billy Stubbs on a permanent basis. The youngster has played at several levels of the youth team but today signed an official contract to become part of the youth academy next season. The 16 year old has represented the Imps at Under 13s, 14s, 15s and 16s level and is the first of what is believed to be a large crop of youngsters to join the youth team as 9 of the current lot have been offered professional contracts for next season. The young man from Skillington has signed a 2 year deal with the youth team and will offically join the Imps on July 1st once he has completed his exams.
