Last year, Wirksworth were pre-season favourites to drop back down to the County League, and this season is no different. In 2001, they started off badly, but recovered well to finish in a very respectable seventh place. Will they do as well this year, or have our readers got it right this time? This week, we turn our attention to the county side. Derbyshire CCC have started their 2002 campaign really well with an easy victory over Glamorgan. With skipper Dominic Cork bowling and batting well Lian Wharton, Dominic Hewson and Steve Stubbings all making significant contributions, could Derbyshire surprise everyone by lifting the County Championship Division Two title.
