Spot The Difference: Jose Reyes quoted by Sky Sports Website as saying on Radio Marca. That Aragones was not racist and that Henry had himself tried to play down the incident. "Luis is like that," he continued. "He has led many teams and knows people of all races.
"He only wanted to motivate me and his words were taken out of context.
"I know that there are racist people but he is not one.
"Henry was the first not to take it too seriously. He took it as a joke and even today he tells me that he doesn't understand why it caused such a commotion".
Thierry Henry quoted by Sky Sports Website as saying at the launch of Europe-wide anti-racism campaign:
"There is no possible reason to say something like that. When I heard about what he had said, I was preparing for a game with France and I thought someone was telling me a bad joke.
But then I realised it was true. Surely there is some other way to motivate a player.
I have had many bosses in my career and they have never said anything like that to motivate me."
(Something wrong here surely? Ed)
