Like many past clashes with Bedford, fist-fights and aggravation was the order of the day, allied with the poorest line out display for some weeks, and too many unforced errors. Hendry Rheeders' try with a switch-back move by the impressive Myles Dorrian, was virtually the only time the move worked in the whole game. This was the afternoon that Cov came up against a streetwise side. Like many past clashes with Bedford, fist-fights and aggravation was the order of the day, allied with the poorest line out display for some weeks, and too many unforced errors. Hendry Rheeders' try with a switch-back move by the impressive Myles Dorrian, was virtually the only time the move worked in the whole game. It was attempted many more times but was usually well covered by the Blues' defence. 

After half time Cov came out with more determination and managed to create two tries quite impressively, but all credit to Bedford as they fought back admirably.

 At lot of home fans were puzzled by the 'non-try' of Nathan Jones, but I did notice that when the try was disallowed by Mr Vertigan the Cov pack didn't argue with the decision.. I have since heard that it was pulled back by Rheeders, so the bespectacled touch judge, Mr. Facey, was correct in his intervention.  Some you win and some you lose.
