Coventry 29 Plymouth Albion 10. A week that has seen enough traumas, on and off the field, to write a whole new series of "casualty”, finally resulted in an excellent bonus point win for Coventry. For one of the few times this season Cov played as a team, and for each other, carrying the crowd in their wake.

Throughout their tackling was immense leaving Plymouth with nowhere to go and at times making them look very ordinary.

Cov got off to a great start with a try by Kirisome after just a minute following a charge down.  Plymouth must have regretted seemingly playing a front row forward as fullback, as he was charged down 3 times in the first half.  Before halftime a further try followed to Kurt Johnson, following continued Cov pressure.

HT was 14 - 3.

The second half again resulted in an early try, this time to Jack Cobden, following the best flowing movement of the game.  Plymouth fought back with their ubiquitous rolling maul to make it 19 -10.  Cov finishing the game off with a bonus point try by Donovan Sanders, following a midfield Plymouth breakdown.

For me, the spectacle of the game must have been Kirisome bearing down on Plymouths full back after a 60m chase, resulting in driving the fullback over his own goal line.

Overall a confidence boosting display proving the benefit of excellent defence and playing in their opponents half.  However, late injuries to Toft, Kirisome and Cobden soured the afternoon and led to the unusual sight of 3 scrum halfs being on the field at the same time, not a tale of 2 halfs, but of 3 scrum halfs!

I believe it is difficult to choose my MOM, however my award goes to all 22 players, and of course Aggy

I thought that fullback was dodgy! Wasn't really a hooker/prop was he?? I thought he was the coach driver. Their real hooker was scarry though, I think he lives wild on Dartmoor during the week and they only get him out at the week ends, he made some of the boys over in the forest look normal.

bambi does most of the ironing,e goes to Mr Jonhson, for the big hit on there fullback/hooker/prop, he must have pushed him back 5 mtrs, of which 4 the poor guy was airbourne
