Race for Life for wee Jack Wakefield. The story of Jack's fight against cancer has touched the hearts of the rugby community. Now a very generous young lady has decided to dedicate her sponsorship in the Coventry 'Race for Life' to Jack's name.
The story of Jack's fight against cancer has touched the hearts of the rugby community.
Now a very generous young lady has decided to dedicate her sponsorship in the Coventry 'Race for Life' to Jack's name.
Andrea Corah, AKA 'Bambi C', a regular user of this site, was so touched by Jack's plight, and by all the love and genuine support given by so many people to Jack and his family, that she decided to try to do something about it.
Now Andrea will run in the Coventry 'Race for Life' to be held in the city's War Memorial Park on the 11th of June.
Andrea says:
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I'm proud to be running for Jack Wakefield, in celebration of the bravest little Pirate ever.
As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.Bambi C x

Please give if you can, and make wee Jack a happy lad, and help to eradicate this horrible disease once and for all.
Thank you all.
