Yorkshire bt Lancashire by 15 runs (20/20)

Anthony McGrath with 52 off 43 balls guided Yorkshire to a total of 156. In reply only Mark Chilton passed thirty for a disappointing Lancashire, who fell 15 runs short of the victory target. A fitting tribute to the great FST. Whatever form of cricket it's in a victory for Yorkshire over Lancashire is always welcome and in the Twenty20 game Yorkshire seem to have found a format which they are growing increasingly good at.

Qualification for the quarter finals is still in the balance but the Yorkshire players must be taking great heart from recent results (Notts excuded!)

That's 3 wins from 5 and a win over Derbyshire on Monday would see what many thought was impossible - Yorkshire success - become more of a probablity than a dream.
