Second Test - A Draw

India won the toss on Thursday morning, and elected to bat first. This didn't bother Hussain, as I think he wanted to bowl first. Both teams ended up happy.

India went on to put 357 all-out on the score cards, while England replied with a whopping 617 all-out. Craig White got 94 not-out for England, and MP Vaughan got a careers best of 197 before being caught by India's PA Patel.

RWT Key, who was appearing in his first test match for England, got RS Dravid out, after catching him from behind.

MJ Hoggard took four wickets for England in the first innings, while DG Cork got one, SJ Harmison got three and A Flintoff and C White for one each.

England couldn't be in a better position at this moment. 260 runs ahead. The only problem was, India had to bat out a second innings. In this innings, India managed to get 242-8. This left the end result, a Draw. You could say that we should have had RS Dravid caught behind before he was given LBW on 115 runs.
