Finally here are the WCCC Unofficial End Of Season Awards.I hope that you enjoy finding out who has won which awards.If you have a query about any of the awards being given then don't hesitate to leave me a message on the board.

Player Of The Year - Kabir Ali. Kabir has had an excellent year after returning from serious injury to play his first full season of county cricket.In all competitions Kabir took a total of 111 wickets and will deservedly be attending the ECB Academy in Australia this winter.

Bowler Of The Year - Gareth Batty.Yet another brilliant signing,as he showed by becoming a record breaker.The record Im referring to is that he is the first Worcestershire spinner to take 50 wickets in Championship cricket, since Richard Illingworth did it 12 years ago.A fantastic achievement and surely Gareth has more still to come with age being on his side.

Batsman Of The Year - Ben Smith.Where do we find these new signings?! Batty and now Ben Smith,what a find!Ben Smith hugely impressed me this year after joining from Leicestershire.He scored a total of more than 2000 runs in all cricket and was also named the Supporters Player Of The Year.

Best Fielder - Vikram Solanki.I cant recall this man dropping a single catch this season and was reliable as ever in the field.A great catcher and always manages to stay alert during long days out on the field.

Most Disappointing Moment - There can be only one!It's got to be missing out on promotion,we had seemed capable of doing it right up until the last few games where we faltered but still,a brilliant base is now held for us to build on next season.

Young Player Of The Year - Kabir Ali.The second award picked up by Kabir and deservedly so.A superb effort from him and hopefully we will sooner rather than later see him representing England.

That concludes the end of season awards,Id just like to say a big Thankyou to all of the Worcestershire playing staff for such a brilliant season of cricket and hopefully we will see more of the same next year.
