Wrexham defeat means it's just City

Wrexham's heavy defeat at Accrington means that Lincoln City are now the only football league side to be unbeaten. From their 8 games so far, City lay 2nd with 6 wins and 2 draws, sees them as the only team outside of the Premiership to maintain an unbeaten start to the season.

Outside of the non-league, only Lincoln City, Manchester United, Portsmouth, Everton and Aston Villa remain undefeated but the odd thing it that's City tally of 20 points from the first 8 games, would normally have seen them top of the division but Swindon's 7 wins from 8 sees them currently sit top of the table.

In just 8 games, City have already broken 2 club records, the 6 away league wins in a row and the best ever star to the season and early indications seem to point to it being a good season for the Imps as the Imps' also top the scoring charts outside of non-league football, with a total of 17 goals in the 8 games so far.

However, City's undefeated record will meet it's toughest challenge on Saturday when high flying MK Dons visit Sincil Bank before the Imps travel to Wycombe next week.
