Lincoln City's new season review DVD is a sign of the progress at the club since last season and is well worth the money. At just under £10, the amount of content on the DVD is excellent value for money, especially as you get to see fantastic goals from Frecklington, Stallard and Forrester again.

This time a year ago and the club had just released the first of what would be 5 "Season Review" DVDs and to be far, it was a good first attempt, a few good extras and about 7 or 8 minutes worth of action for each match. This continued throughout the season. However, Ray Trew, the owner of DVD producers, SportsTV left and all of a sudden, the DVDs lost all their extras and the overall quality went seriously down, coincedence? It's save to say that towards the end, the DVDs weren't worth the £19.95 the club were charging.

This season and the club have tried again with a much better success and at a much more affordable price. The first thing you'll notice about the DVD is the new design of the front cover and the menu system has changed as well, as has the theme tune and although I'm not a fan of dance music, it seems more appropriate for the club.

The match highlights themselves are seemingly more bearable and only last a few minutes and you near enough get straight to the chances instead of waiting whilst the play builds up and it sometimes seems to take forever to get anywhere. Infact, it doesn't seem long before you're hearing some random Lincoln fan trying taunt the Torquay fans after the Imps have taken the 2-1 lead, shouting out "You're going down, you're going down, Lincoln, Lincoln".

The extras aren't half bad either with an extended interview with John Schofield and some goofs that will make you laugh and a bit worried at the same time.

Overall, the DVD is easily the best that the club has produced and hopefully that will continue into the 2nd part of this season.
