Frecklington out of trip to Peterborough

A yellow card in the win over Grimsby Town means that City youngster, Lee Frecklington, will miss the game at Peterborough. The youngster has been in fine form for City this season and scored his 7th goal of the season against Grimsby but he will now be out of the vital game at London Road.

Ironically, his first yellow card didn't come until the JP Trophy defeat to Grimsby but in the subsequent 9 games, he has recieved 7 bookings and he will now be absent when the Imps fans cheer on the team in arguably the biggest game of the season as more than 2000 fans are anticipated to make the trip south.

The youngster has been in fine form for the Imps this year and has scored some vital goals including some absolute stunners. Infact, his effort against MK Dons won "theimps.tk 2006 Awards : Goal of 2006."

He is also one of only a small handful of Lincoln players who is ever present but that will now next week. Mark Stallard is also likely to miss the game through injury.
