Utility player Luke Foster has left the Imps after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract after 18 months at City. The youngster, who joined City from Sheffield Wednesday has quickly found himself a new club, and will now be plying his trade for Stalybridge Celtic.

Foster has never been a first team regular, more often that not being left of the squad for vast periods of time. He hasn't even made an appearance on the subs bench this season and it will ultimately come as no surprise that he has been released.

He is the third player to leave Sincil Bank in the space of 24 hours after the departures of Gary Birch and Martin Gritton yesterday.
