Lincoln City will be getting to face Leeds United next season, although it will only be in the newly structed Pontins Reserve League - East Section. The new structure resembles League 2 in that it is full of local derbies for the Imps, including games against both Sheffield clubs as well as Championship sides, Hull City and Barnsley.

City were quite poor in the Pontins Reserve League last season, but made up for their poor league form with a cup run which resulted in the club winning the Pontins Reserves Cup, beating Hartlepool on penaltie in the final.

The new structure is aimed a giving clubs shorted hauls for their reserve games. This new structuring hasn't pleased Bradford and Huddersfield though, both of whom have long treks to Shrewsbury Town, West Brom and Wolves amongst others.

City's new look division sees them playing Barnsley, Darlington, Grimsby, Hartlepool, Hull City, Leeds, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Sheffield's United and Wednesday and York.
