Morgan's move to Bury is a "done deal"

A source close to Paul Morgan has "confirmed" that the Northern Irish defender is as good as a Bury player after speaking to the Greater Manchester Newspaper. Morgan will be linking up again with Keith Alexander at Bury, as the former Lincoln manager is currently Director of Football at Gigg Lane, a move that would hardly surprise anyone given the amount of former Imps that follow Keith around.

Speaking to www.greatermanchesteronline.com, a source alledgely close to Morgan said : "The Bury move looks more than likely to be a done deal. There's every chance he'll be playing at Gigg Lane next season, particularly as he'll get the chance to work with a boss he knows well and respects from his time at Lincoln."

It seems that the saga regarding Morgan's departure is finally almost over, just 2 weeks after he confirmed that he would be interested in joining Grimsby, a quote that didn't go down well with Imps fans.

It is believed that the deal will be completed by the end of next week. Whereas there are also a few rumours that Lincoln are set to announce a signing at the same time.
