Imps to kick off against.......

Lincoln City will kick off their season with a trip to Rotherham United. The Imps will be the first visitors to the Don Valley stadium and will hope to gain revenge over the Millers after they did the double over City last season. We also have the annual night trip to Macclesfield to look forward to.
Rotherham United have had troubles off the pitch and could be an ideal team for the Imps to be facing first. The game at the Don Valley Stadium will be played on August 9th. This is followed by a home game against Dagenham and Redbridge on August 16th.
City's first home local derby will be against Grimsby on August 30th. We're at home to Bradford on Boxing day and our final game will be at home to Aldershot.
The Imps will also face night games at Macclesfield, Aldershot, Gillingham and Dagenham.

im annoyed that aldershot and gills are night games as i probably wont be able to go there now.
aldershots on my birthday, but i cant go because it s a night game

I've got an ever fun trip to Bury the day after my birthday.
Infact, looking at the fixture list there's a tremendous amount of familiar fixtures.
Macclesfield away on a Tuesday night yet again.
Darlington away in November, other than the last two seasons, that always used to happen.
Having more away games around Christmas than home games.

They aren't in the same week, the Exeter game is the week after with a possible (but not very likely) FA Cup second round game in between.

First game of the season is good for me, Mrs drops me off at Meadowhell, I have a few pints with the imps at Don Valley then she drives me home again! Happy days.
To let people know, England fixtures which clash with football league games fall on both Saturday 6th September and Saturday 11th October, meaning our home games against Barnet and Rochdale are likely to change from a saturday 3pm kick off.
If the Barnet game does infact get moved to a friday night (like games have in previous years) ... then that'll be my first game of the new season!

Is there any chance of the Rotherham game being moved, seeing as Sheffield Wednesday are playing on the same day? What arrangement have they come to? Seeing as there are now 3 teams playing in Sheffield.
I think as far as S/Yorks go it is all a bit "up in the air". Personally i can not see them agreeing to both games taking place on the saturday as now Rotherham play @ the Don Valey most visiting fans will go into Sheffield
Hope SY OB get in a panic and our game is changed to Sunday, for purely selfish reasons as I'm working on the Saturday ........ sorry folks

Shrewsbury 2 seasons ago was 2nd to last h]game of the season (A) when Mcauley scored that header thas andt got us to to the play-off and knocked them out :p
