Watch out League 2, Lincoln are coming! The latest player to join City is David Graham. The Scottish striker was a goal machine when he was last in this division and becomes the first official ex-Huddersfield player to join the Imps. Graham has an average of a goal under every three games in League 2.
Most City fans will remember David Graham for being instrumental in Torquay United winning promotion in 2003/4. He and Martin Gritton scored for fun that year as the Gulls pipped Peter Jackson's Huddersfield Town to the third automatic promotion spot on the final day of the season.
Graham has played under Jackson before, scoring 9 goals in 18 games for the Terriers whilst on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
Graham joins on a six month contract after being released by Gillingham.
certainly jacko is proving any doubters wrong. compared to this time last year, a poor team and signing croft/torpey, now we have oakes kovacs sinclair and graham, and he is stil only 29, definantly him and wright could do a job!
Promotion 08/09, wasnt sure, but from these signings i have virtually positive now, especially after jacko last night, the man is a hero. Lewis emmanuel tonight? would be yet another great signing.
i think we are probably another striker, left back and goalie away from a promotion winning side. and we know that 2 of these are going to sign so hopefully a striker with pace and then we will be serious contenders
get real southern imp, why do you bother posting, you are always so negative, the bloke hasnt even trained yet, let alone kick a ball, give him a chance

And why do you (Southern) bother supporting Lincoln? What's the point when you criticise everything Jacko and the club do!?
i am stating a fact he hasnt set the world alight at Gillingham they got relegated. They coulndt see any future for him so offloaded him.
You say i am always negative what gives you all the right to be positive about signings. jacko after all isnt the Messiah even he can get it wrong.
We are seeing again a manager looking at players from the past at old clubs. Why do managers never seem to bring in mnay players outside of those paramaters.
The only players so far that might have been a good signing is Kovacs but i will reserve judgment till the season starts. The question with him is why wasnt he being played regularely at Chesterfield

Wrong again. He played in 41 games last season. If that isn't playing regularly then I don't know what is.

ok so i dont agree with all southern imp says , but like cookie said everyone is entitled to their own opinions . He is just stating his . Just because not everyone agrees with him doesent mean others should have a go at him .
Whats wrong with a bit of constructive debate and banter
If everyone agreed with everyone else fprums like this would be very boring places now wouldnt they .
If he were that highly thought of why has he accepted a 6 month contract surely he would be looking for the standard 2 year deal which other clubs would be offering for a striker especialy as strikers seem to be in short supply
good point, then again Ollie Ryan had 6 months maybe it's a trail, but we needed to get him quickly before any other club becuase he's a quality player ?
