Although not specifically related to Lincoln City, we would like to pass on our best wishes to the family of Ernie Cooksey. The former Boston United and Rochdale player has now slipped into a coma as he continues to battle against a malignant melanoma.

Cooksey, who played against City for both Rochdale and Boston United in recent seasons, was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma several years ago and has slipped into a coma at the age of 28.

We here at theimps.tk would like to wish Ernie a speedy recovery.
