Here are some updates on the Imps injury listed players, Ben Sedgemore, Chris Cornelly and Paul Smith. Sedge is expected to be out for about 5 more weeks, Cornelly is out for the season and Smith might be out alltogether. Things are coming along nicely for midfielder Ben Sedgemore who is making a rapid recovery from his hernia operation. He said he hopes to be back by the Scunthorpe game but will more than likely be back by the game at Hull.

Chris Cornelly has underwent his surgery on Thursday morning for his Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury and is said to be walking in no pain but his season was over before it had even started.

But at least Chris will definatly play again, something that can't be said for winger Paul Smith. Smith had a recurrance of his ruptured disc in his back injury that kept him out for nearly a year last time he had it. The injury was picked up in the playoff final defeat and Smith can no longer walk without any pain. Thankfully though, his surgery is the day City play away at Swansea, hopefully he will be able to play again but most importantly, he will be able to walk without pain again. Hopefully we will see him in an Imps shirt again and I will bring you updates on his condition regulary.
