Ray Lewington has revealed he is very keen to sign City's Paul Mayo but the club have apparantly rejected an initial £100,000 for the left back who has scored 8 goals this season. The suprise news came today after Ray Lewington revealed he had been watching Mayo for the past few weeks.

Lewington confirmed: "We feel Paul can do a good job for us but at the moment we are nowhere near to completing a deal."

This contradicts a few comments on the internet though as no one seems certain about what is going on.

Sky Sports thinks the deal has been completed but there is nothing on either Watford or Lincoln's official sites.
