BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MACCLESFIELD FAN?

You never know quite what you're going to get with the Silkmen so every game is a new and random experience.

WORST THING ABOUT BEING A MACCLESFIELD FAN?

Struggling for so long in the football league against teams that had no-where near the quality we did but Brian Horton has finally corrected that.

BEST AND WORST MEMORIES OF BEING A MACCLESFIELD FAN

The best was winning promotion to Division 2 in 1997/8 with an unbeaten home record. The worst was in 1995 when we won the conference but we weren't allowed into the league because our ground wasn't good enough.

AFTER SO MANY SEASONS OF BEING THREATENED WITH RELEGATION, ARE YOU SUPRISED WITH HOW YOUR SEASON HAS GONE?

Yes, we all thought the end of last season was a fluke but Horton has proved us wrong. He's brought in good talent such as your old player, Mark Bailey and we have a good chance of going up for the first time since 97/98.

WHERE DO YOU RECKON MACCLESFIELD'S REALISTIC LIMITS ARE (I/E, HOW FAR IN THE LEAGUE STRUCTURE CAN THEY GET WITHOUT STRUGGLING)?

I don't believe any club has a limit, you make your own, I mean, who would have though Wimbledon could have held their own in the Premiership for as long as they did.

WHO ARE YOU BEST PLAYERS?

John Parkin, John Miles and Mark Bailey

WHO DO YOU RATE AS CITY'S BEST PLAYERS

Gain and Yeo

FINALLY, WHO DO YOU RECKON WILL GO UP AND DOWN?

Up : Yeovil, Scunny, Southend, Macclesfield.

Down : Cambridge, Rushden
