After yesterday's defeat to County, a lot of fans have shown their true colours when it comes to supporting Lincoln CIty. 3 games in and a lot of fans are saying that we're not going to win the promotion that "we deserve" and the all too familiar stench of arrogance is decending on Sincil Bank.

Some of you "fans" should realise that we don't deserve to go up, no-one does. Oh wow, we've lost in the playoffs 3 years in a row, so what? Obviously we simply weren't good enough. But the way some of you fans (most of whom I suspect only started coming once we started winning a few games) have said that we're too crap to get the promotion we deserve, need to learn a few things about football.

Against Northampton, although not at our best, we still managed to sneak a very very valuable point. We were just unlucky against Chester City and against County, two apparant (in other words, not a chance were they) refereeing errors cost us at least a point.

Our play in the opening 3 games has been impressive and although at times, we have reverted back to the long ball, the majority of our play has been along the ground and 3 of the 4 goals scored so far, have been absolutly brilliant finishes, especially Brown's at County. Against County, we put together what will more than likely turn out to be the longest passing movement that any team will put together this season, 30 passes from Marriott all the way to Asamoah and the ball didn't even slightly go above the ground.

Oh wow, we haven't won in our first 3 games, so what? Our players haven't had time to gel yet, a lot of the new players had never met each other before July 11th so you can't expect them to gel overnight and on paper, we do have a squad that is the best we've had in recent years.

Some of you Lincoln fans are really fickle and in the past year, I'm seen so many comments (mainly from the same person) who have been saying that they're sick of watching Lincoln every week but then as soon as we win, they might as well be looking at porn, they're that excited about the game.

Some of you claim that you're the best supporters the club has had, so damn well act like it because we aren't going to get anywhere if you lot don't stop moaning. We aren't going to win promotion just like that, we have to earn it and unlike certain other arrogant teams, such as Hull, we can't buy our way up. (arrogant in the sense that towards the end of their stay in this division, a lot of Hull fans said that Hull deserved to go up because of the stadium, management etc)

I'm not saying that we will go up, I'm not even saying we'll do well but WE'RE ONLY 3 DAMN GAMES INTO THE SEASON.
