The match against Peterborough refuses to die down as and if you thought we were a bit biased, this is pale in comparison. THe report, found on a Peterborough website is wrote like the author wasn't even at the game, one example of this being how he describes a goal off the knee as "brilliant"

The report is full of irony and hypocritism as the author often sounds like he wasn't even at the game. Over the past few months, I've been accused once or twice of being biased and hypocritical but this takes the cake.

"If hitting long to a big bloke fails, hit it longer to a bigger bloke appears to be the Lincoln way."

The first part of the article that reveals what a prat the author is. Obviously he's failing to take into account that neither of our strikers are over 6'0 tall and that they "hoofed" it just as much as we did. However, it appears that a 70 yard punt up field by the Posh was a "quality ball upfield", despite not even going anywhere near their places.

"The irony of Posh opening the scoring from a set-piece against a team who specialise in such things didn't go unnoticed, but Adam Newton's clinching goal seven minutes later was one of a quality not often seen at Sincil Bank – by the home team anyway."

The hilarity about this is that we aren't set piece specialists and Adam Newton's goal was far from quality finishing. The striker barely managed to get contact as the ball hit the top of his knee and just managed to get in the net. If that was a quality goal, I wonder what he thought against Keate's over head kick. If this guy thinks that a bobble of a knee is a quality goal, they he seriously needs to break into reality.

"The final whistle was greeted by hugs, waves and even kisses aimed at the noisy 1,300 Posh fans in the ground. They all knew the significance of this victory."

You're all obviously easily impressed but then again, seeing as you didn't seem to be at the game, it doesn't surprise me.
