Keith isn't after Torpey and Cureton

After recent transfer speculation, Keith Alexander has revealed that he isn't interested in either Torpey or Cureton. The rumour about Torpey has been around for a while, whereas theimps.tk broke the news about Cureton's possible arrival a few days ago, but neither are heading for Sincil Bank.

It was around 1am on Tuesday morning that theimps.tk became the first site to write about the possibility of Cureton joining, more than 24 hours before eatsleepfootball.com claimed it was an original piece by them. Cureton once scored 74 goals in 3 seasons, however, the prolific striker is not a target for Keith Alexander.

Also, Scunthorpe United's Steve Torpey has been ruled out of the move by the Imps' boss

"We are in the market for a striker, but not those two," he said. "I am always looking to improve my squad, but, as yet, no-one has taken my fancy."

The obvious questioning of Keith's ambition to score goals will now come into question after he revealed his lack of interest in 2 prolific strikers and prefering to play Asamoah and Green, who can't hit a barn door between them.
