Boston shoot themselves in the foot?

Boston United appear to have shot themselves in the foot, following the injury to their only eligable goalkeeper. Wright has apparantly injured himself just a day after loanee keeper, Michel Kuipers returned to Brighton. Boston were planning to make an emergency loan but it appears unlikely.

The FAs loan deadline was closed just over a month ago and Boston allowed goalkeeper Nathan Abbey to go out to Leyton Orient on loan until January 7th before loaning in Michel Kuipers for a month, a deal which expired 2 days ago. This now appears to have been a mistake from Boston after reserve goalkeeper, Wright got injured on Wednesday. Boston have asked the FA to make an emergency loan, however, the FA are set to refuse this due to Boston to knowingly allowing themselves to have only 1 goalkeeper for the 4 matches over Christmas and New Years, running the risk of that goalkeeper getting injured.

However, a conspiracy theory has now arisen from both camps that Evans apparantly doesn't have faith in putting Wright in such a big match and wanted to claim he was injured in an attempt to get an emergency loan, however, with the refusal of this, Evans now has no choice but to play either Wright, a youth team goalkeeper or an outfield player in goal. At this rate, Asamoah might actually score 2 in a game, then again...
