Imps chasing fallen Yeovil star

Lincoln City are currently in the twelve club race to sign recently released Yeovil Town striker, Kevin Gall. After failing to make an impact at in League One, the Glovers decided that Gall's time with the club should come to an end. It appears unlikely however that the Imps will sign him.

A sundry of clubs are believed to wanting to enter discussions with Galls following his surprise release from Yeovil Town. The Merthyr born frontman was far from prolific during the 2005/6 season as he scored just 3 goals and despite playing on a regular basis, he only scored once after September 17th. That came just 2 short years after Gall briefly topped the goalscorers charts in the old-Division 3 after scoring four goals in his first two games before ending the season with 10 goals as he helped Yeovil almost achieve a playoff place that they only failed to achieve on goal difference from Lincoln, whom the Glovers had beaten 3-2 on the final day.

Gall made 150 appearances in all competition for the Glovers in 3 years at Huish Park, scoring a quantum of 29 goals after signing from Bristol Rovers, whom he scored 5 goals for including a winner at Sincil Bank in the 2001/2 season.

City however will have to pull out all the stops to charm Gall to Sincil Bank as several League One sides are chasing his signature including several in the south-west area where he currently resides.
