Liverpool friendly FINALLY confirmed.

Lincoln City's highly awaited friendly against Premiership side and FA Cup holders Liverpool, has finally be finalised today. The game was always guaranteed because of the Imps' sale of Jack Hobbs to the reds last season but after weeks of worrying, City fans can finally look forward to it.

The game will be played on Wednesday 16th August with a 7:45pm kick off and with any luck, we'll get to see several big names make an appearance at some point. It will be the first time City have faced a Premiership team in a friendly since the 2-2 draw with Manchester City 3 years ago, a game in which Lincoln took a 2-0 lead.

City will again be using the "Early Bird" system meaning that if you buy your tickets before hand, it will be cheaper than buying them on the day. All adult tickets are £15 (£17 if brought on day), all concessions are £10 (£11 is brought on day) and all childs tickets are £5 (£6 if brought on day).
