Sting In The Tail, "the independent voice of Derbyshire cricket" is back. After being unceremoniously dumped by a "rival" sports network who considered that cricket was a minority sport not worthy of coverage on their network, Sting In The Tail has re-surfaced just in time for the 2002 season.

Sting In The Tail is already making a big impression on SportNetwork.net - the net's newest sports network. Page hits are encouraging and are rising weekly. Hopefully, the site page views will soon be back to where they were last summer when we peaked at over 50,000 page views and 2,000 users per month.

Most of the features that made Sting In The Tail almost a household name at cricket grounds around the county can now be found by clicking the links on the navigational bar on the right hand side of the page. We hope to continue to provide the weekly results and reports service from the Premier League and the County League, thanks to the league press officials.

If this is your first visit to the site, you could start by visiting the message board which is the heart of the site. Lively debate of a serious, and not so serious, nature can be found here. Why not register your user name on the board and start posting your comments?
