Dreams do come true - but no jam

It was a couple days before this seasons Middlesboro game and I took my 10 year old nephew to Thorpe Park - thankfully he didn't want to on Nemesis and we just about managed Depth Charge (To think I used to go on Bobbs [worlds fastest Big Dipper] Bellvue Manchester after 5 pints of DD and fish and chips).

Anyway he asked me what would be my all time fantasy game. Well that was easy it was Real Madrid in the Champions League Final. The score 5-3 to the mighty Arse. We were 3-1 down at half-time but came back to win 5-3. Who scored he asked? Henry 2, Reyes 2 and Bergy 1, I replied(Bergy had been give 2 weeks off to drive to the game). He suggested that Henry had got an hat trick, but I gently reminded him it was my fantasy and that was how it went.

Well I promptly forgot all about my fantasy and didn't even remember it during the Middlesboro game. Indeed I thought that Boro would prove to be our bogey team and nemesis. Remember when they beat us by 3 goals and only had one shot. Brazil its just like playing Brazil sang the Clock End (Edu and Silvinho and had both scored for the Boro). We went 3-1 down and then won 5-3 but I was so anxious I still didn't remember the fantasy.

It wasn't until I met my nephew to go to the Bolton game that I suddenly remembered the fantasy game - but perhaps I had imagined it, fortunately he remembered it too. But we both agreed it wasn't exactly Real Madrid. So what was the connection he asked (very bright for 10 and hates Manure)? Well I replied they both come from places with "M" in it. We both thought it was pretty spooky, we had worked out the scenario, just the wrong team and competition. I was also right Henry didn't get an hat trick, just the two, bergy got his but Reyes had to share with Bert.
So do dreams come true? What do you want jam on it?
