At Last Henry Joins the Greats - Spooky or What?

At last Henry confirms confirms he is amongst the greats by scoring in tonight's World Cup Qualifier against Cyprus. But its only Cyprus you say - true but could the press's darling score against Wales? But its absolute nonsense to put Henry up with the greats just because he scored against Cyprus. Yes you are right - but its no more a nonsense than the old bollocks he had to put up with from the cat litter men during the last few weeks.
For more on this see yesterday's blog below this.

Spooky or what?Myles Palmer criticised Beckham (and why not) before the Wales game and Beckham scored, then he slagged off Owen before tonight's game (and why not?). Far be it for me to advise Myles I am a great respecter of his columns, and knowledge, but there could be a trend here, so please Myles be careful who you slag off next - especially if they are about to play the Arse.

Phew its nearly over
Just one more day of old bollocks about International week and then the sport pages will start discussing the real issues of football. I am glad most Arsenal players had good games but I have only seen one half of the whole bloody bore and that was enough. Bring on old pig face to moan about how we beat then unfairly with quickly taken free kicks - something he would never encourage. Myles is right about Karma, it got old pig face back pretty quick, that will teach him to blow kisses at our Bert.

Cat Litter Men Get of Henry's Back
Some of the press, in particular the Mirror think they have discovered a weakness in Henry - that is how he plays for France. Then the argument goes if you are not a great player for your country you are not a great player. Not exactly original, I have heard it before from jealous spud fans.

Here is today's rendition from the Mirror:
"Henry, in particular, has been unable to reproduce his club form or goal-scoring ability for his country." Of course the fact he has World and European Cup medals and was man of the tournament at the recent Confederations cup count for nothing with these bastards.

They are well aware that, for them, yesterdays newspapers are destined for cat litter trays across the country (and probably the only useful contribution they make). So its hardly surprising you get no sense of perspective from these shameless hacks. Of course its a good chance to criticise Henry when they know they couldn't do it in the Premiership.

Its the build them up and knock them down style of journalism that the red tops love. Of course Henry doesn't binge on drink, or attend brothels, but is guilty of being French-so what is better than some misinformed articles running him down.

Firstly the French team is playing poorly as a whole (maybe due to all the new players). Secondly Henry played well at the weekend it was Cisse who stunk the place out with his lack of skill and wasted chances. Thirdly Henry had to make his own chances, had to go deep to get the ball, and surprise surprise the Irish were ready for him at the end of his run.

Personally I couldn't care less if he doesn't play well or at all for France, long as he delivers for the Arse I don't give a shite.

That brings us to myth number 2, he doesn't play well in Champions League, well I suggest that the purveyors of that myth contact Inter Milan for a second opinion.
Now cat litter men fuck off and leave Henry alone.
