Poor ol red nose he keeps getting flashbacks - apparently about this time last year a murder happened and the culprits got away with it. Arsenal Times doesn't like to intrude on others grief so I suggest the poor ol sod gets some therapy and will move on, even if he can't.
O'Leary's bebbies "man's game" fails.
I predicted that O'Leary would get his team to get in amongst us - they did it so well that Vieira was crippled. I also predicted they were crap - and so it made little difference as Arsenal ran all over them even without Paddy.
For once the sprinklers were not on and I can't help feeling that contributed to the Arsenal Players, apart from Lauren, staying on their feet for the whole game. I had predicted an International hangover, but was entirely wrong. This was the best football we have played all season. With 16 shots on target the football was incredible. "Have you ever seen football played like this" crowed the Clock End. How the score remained at 3-1 was entirely down to Postma, and the Clock End gave him an Ovation at the end. On MOTD Lawrenson stole my "the Postma always saves twice quip" coined at 5pm. He must have the Bank of Friendship bugged.
Moaningrhino-happy days
To cap a perfect day Chelski lost to super Nics penalty. Nic won the penalty and took it. The first goal scored against Chelski away this season. So we now have a 5 point lead - but be fair Chelsea have had harder games than us like errm Man City and Aston Villa. Whilst we had easy games like errm Man City and Aston Villa. Of course being better than us they got errm 1 point out of the two games, and we got 6.
As the Moaningrhino says Arsenal will drop points - how very profound. The important thing Moaningrhino is not to drop points yourself. He was pathetic after the City game - Chelsea were the real deserving winners - yeah with 3 shots on target we all agreed
