England have won the latest Npower test series with a brilliant bowling display by Young Sajid Mahmood and fans favourite Monty Panesar. They have taken a 2-0 lead in the four match series and if you were a betting man you would have a bet on England winning the next match too.

A packed out crowd filled the Headingley stands today as England put on a fantastic bowling display for the fans. The majority of the crowd were Pakistan fans which made the atmosphere even better as there was alot of banter between each fans.

Pakistan had a right to feel a little confident as they made a reasonable start but then Matthew Hoggard hit with a well pitched ball to dismiss Butt, edged to the slips.

Panesar bowled the first over of the day to allow the two seamers, Harmison and Hoggard, to switch ends. He was later introduced after the drinks break as England needed something different in attack, the left arm spinner got Umar caught close in after he tried a sweep and swept the ball on to his pad to be caught by Cook.

Mahmood had been inconsistent in his line and lenght but came up with a lightening spell of pace and good line. Faisal Iqbal flicked a wideish ball off his legs to be caught by keeper Chris Read. Two balls later, Kamran Akmal edged a decent lenght ball to Read and England were back on top as Collingwood quickly off the mark ran out Yousuf.

Panesar was back in the frame after lunch as he bowled Younis with a turning ball that gripped and bounced.

Mohammad Sami was the fourth man to be ran out in the match as wickets carried on falling as Umar Gul and Shahid Nazir fell shortly after.

Captain Inzaman ul Haq gave England a few blows as he struck six boundries but later fell to Monty after a neat stumping by Chris read.
