Asif and Gull stun England

Today couldn't have got any worse for England, as the rain poured over The Oval and wickets kept falling against England’s wish, it was all a day for Pakistan.
Cook, Strauss and Read were the only batsman for England to really add anything to the score, between them they got 111 runs. Cook got the most with 40, but close behind was Strauss (38) and Read (33). Seven of the England batsman failed to even reach double figures!

Asif and Gull both took 4 wickets from the day with Kaneria and Nazir getting one each.

With England on 173 all out it was down to our bowlers to work up some magic, only it looked like we had no tricks up our sleeve with Mahmood getting the only wicket of the day for England, by sending Khan to the pavilion for 9.

So England all out for 173 and Pakistan on 91-1, more rain to come over the next few days, but will there be more doom and gloom for England?
