England were inspired by Johnny Cash's track 'Ring of fire' for more than one reason. Flintoff described how his team overcame India straight after the lunch break.
At lunch on the final day of the 3rd test, England knew they would need to keep the pressure on India as soon as they came out and they did this by dismissing Rahul Dravid and Tendulkar in the space of seven balls.
This was a great effort straight after lunch from the England boys and after the game, stand in captain described how they were inspired;
"There is a lot of drivel that gets played on the iPod we have wired up in the dressing room,'' said Flintoff.
"This is the one song the lads enjoy when we need a lift and we went out after lunch with a spring in our step."
Journalists suggested that Flintoff was sarcastically referring to the hot Indian food causing him and his team mates a 'burning ring of fire'.
The spirit is high in the camp and hopefully England will have a few more songs in their music collection to inspire the team to win the ODI series.
