Weather halts Yorkshire's 20/20 roll

Yorkshire's run in the Twenty20 was hindered tonight by the weather. Yorkshire blitzed 210-3 in their 20 overs only to see the rain draw a halt to proceedings. This result sees Yorkshire remain in mid table. Half centuries from Brophy, McGrath and White had seen Yorkshire smash 210 runs from their alloted 20 overs.

In reply Derbyshire had started well with Claydon disappearing for 22 runs of his opening over.

The rain however spoilt what was a lively encounter and a probable Yorkshire victory, which would have done their chances of qualification for the quarter finals no harm at all.
