Michael Lumb is said to be interesting Championship rivals Hampshire. Lumb is yet to sign a new contract with Yorkshire. The twenty-six year old middle order batsman enjoyed a good season with 963 Championship runs at 41.86. Meanwhile Yorkshire chief executive Stewart regan confirmed that Yorkshire are "close to making a couple of very high-profile signings and this will certainly assist in the run-making department next season."
