From today the Unofficial Yorkshire CCC Website will be known as The Corridor of Uncertainty. The name was our favourite and also collected the most votes in our online poll - so it's conclusive.

We think the name is a good choice. Supporting Yorkshire County Cricket Club is the only respectable cricketing choice to make but is not always the easiest passtime. So the term made famous by legendary tyke Geoffrey Boycott is now our home.

 

The URL for the site is also changing - to visit us you will be able to come through the sportnetwork pages as before or you can enter our new URL - www.corridorofuncertainty.co.uk.

 

It's a very exciting time for us here on the website. We have only been running for a few months and the number of visitors, contributors to the message board and our ranking on the sportnetwork of sites is getting better all the time - and this is the closed season!

 

We have a new site sponsor who will be coming on board very soon to (a) sponsor the rebranded website and (b) provide prizes etc for forthcoming competitions and ventures we have planned.

 

Following the success of the ICC Champions Trophy Fantasy League (which is reaching its climax now) we have similar competitions in the pipeline for England's Ashes tour of Australia, The World Cup and the 2007 domestic cricket season.

 

Please keep with us and let us know your thoughts on what we do on this site – it is for you after all. We run the site on a not for profit basis and do it because we love our cricket and support Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
