A partnership of 51 between Lehmann and McGrath saw Yorkshire home with over 3 overs still to play. Lehmann also took 3-19 in Durham's innings. An easy win for Yorkshire in the first Twenty20 of the season. A competition that Yorkshire have always struggled in may now provide some light relief from their struggles in the longer game. Excellent individual performances from Darren Lehmann, with a run a ball 37, and Anthony McGrath (28 off 23) responded to a Durham total that was always 20 or 30 runs short. Only Muchall, with a combative 46 off 40 balls, offered any resistance for Durham. Yorkshire now go to Nottingham on Friday where they will hope to continue todays success.
