The Competition Rules

Each entrant will receive a reference letter. The competitor must write an article containing all the 30 words (or as many as possible) below. These words and definitions  are from the Wordsmith.org   or Dictionary.com “word of the day” for 2007. All entries will be published anonymously, and COYSDC’ers will be invited to vote for the winner via a poll. The voters will also be asked to try and identify the writers, and there will be a prize for the vote who gets most right.

The article can be on any subject to do with Northampton Saints 2007/8 Season and can be as long or short as you like, but remember that voters will get bored if it’s too long! Each of the “words of the day” used must be underlined.

The voting for the winner will be at the end of February when we will publish a full list of the words, their meaning and usage according to Wordsmith.org, and the winner announced and a presentation made at an event to be held n the new year.

During January and February words/phrases will be posted at the top of the board, and entered below. On In the last week 9 words will be posted
