Excellent pics - used a few in
the report (thank you)
CLARE
Hi everybody,
We were bathed in golden light in stark contrast to events in January - I
enjoyed every moment of the trip apart from the result. As many have
said, this young team did us proud and will learn from the experience.
In Toulouse in 2005, we felt lucky just to be there and a year later
despite the win in San Sebastian, we didn't really feel as though our
team was progressing. Now I do think that this team will grow in
maturity and experiences such as Saturday will serve us well.
I had a great time with the cameras - here are my favourites:
Emma - it was very hard taking
photos of the boys after the match. They were clearly upset. I didn't
encroach on the huddle though Sky did - but I did see it as my role to
record events so I tried to without being too intrusive.
As for giving them a hug, I think they would have run a mile rather than
be seen to be hugged by a large middle-aged woman in a funny hat! But
the thought did occur to me
Thanks a lot for your help. I am
not a techie and have limited internet skills!
Thanks Saints Supporters Club for giving Fleur and Maeve the opportunity
to hand out flags for the Munster game. They had the time of their life
and have told everyone the have met about what a fantastic time they
had. They are still talking about events that occurred during the few
days we spent in Ireland.
