Brown got Surrey off to a good start with 25 from just 13 balls. Bennng and Ramprakash then put Surrey in command with a partnership of 154. Ramprakash made 58 from just 28 balls, while Benning top scored with 88 from 54. Surrey reached 198 for six, from their 20 overs.

Stevens and Dexter put on 40 for the opening stand. However Surrey came back as they took three quick wickets to leave Kent 50 for three. Dexter was next to go for 31 as he was bowled by Murtagh. Doshi took the wickets of Key and Henderson as Kent were left 78 for six. Salisbury removed Walker for 12 and then Doshi dismissed Van Jaarsveld for 28. Kent were bowled out for just 91.

Surrey lost openers Brown and Benning early on as they were left 35 for two. Ramprakash and Mahmood added 40. However both fell in quick succession, while Clarke and Walters also fell cheaply to leave Surrey 96 for six. John Batty was the only lower order batsmen to show any resistance with 23, as Surrey were bowled out for just 123.

Goodwin and Prior put on 57 for the first wicket. The Brown Caps came back into the game with four quick wickets as Sussex were left 87 for four. However Michael Yardy hit an unbeaten 21, to see the sharks home with 1.4 overs to spare.

James Benning was dismissed first ball as he was caught behind with Gough taking the wicket. Brown was next to go as he was caught by Irani with Bichel picking up the wicket. Clarke and Ramprakash then added 45. Clarke made 28, while Ramprakash hit 54. Batty and Mahmood added 68. Batty top scored for Surrey with 59 as they made 188 for seven from their 20 overs.

Essex lost both openers early as they were left 7 for two. Gough and Bopara started a recovery with a partnership of 68. Gough was dismissed by Salisbury for 31 when he was adjudged leg before wicket. He also took the wicket of Flower for eight, to leave Essex 100 for four. However Bopara and Foster won the game for Essex as they added 62. Bopara made 83 from just 46 balls, with 10 fours and two sixes. He was dismissed before the end of the game as her was bowled by Dernbach. Essex still one by four wickets with 1.4 overs to spare.

Yasir Arafat removed both openers as Surrey were left 27 for two. Clarke was next to go as he was adjudged leg before wicket to Martin-Jenkins for 14. Luke Wright took the next two wickets of Ramprakash and Batty as Surrey were left 68 for five. Wright also took the wicket of Mahmood for 19. Scott Newman hit 34 to help Surrey reach 131.

Tim Murtagh gave Surrey the perfect start as he took three early wickets to leave Sussex reeling at 34 for three. Salisbury took the next wicket of pinch hitter Arafat for a duck. When Doshi took the wicket of Montgomerie, Sussex were left 54 for five. However an unbeaten stand of 81 between Michael Yardy and Carl Hopkinson led Sussex to victory. Yardy hit 68 not out from 43 balls with seven fours and one six.

Surrey lost Benning and Ramprakash early on. Clarke also fell cheaply, which left Surrey 20 for three. Batty was next to go for 12 and Brown soon followed him for 28.However a partnership of 85 between Azhar Mahmood and Scott Newman, helped Surrey reach 141 from 20 overs. Mahmood top scored with 65 not out from just 30 balls, which included seven fours and four sixes.

Hampshire lost former Surrey batsman Michael Carberry early, but Stokes and Benham added 39. Stokes fell for 38 as he was bowled by Dernbach. Dominic Thornely was the next man to go as he was caught behind with Clarke taking the wicket. Hampshire reached 93 for three, but then Nayan Doshi came in to the attack and turned the game around. First he took the key wicket of Benham for 38 and then removed Mascarenhas for a duck. McLean and Udal both fell cheaply and Doshi then took the wickets of Lamb and Tremlett. Billy Taylor was the last wicket to fall as he was run out for a duck. Surrey won by just 10 runs, with Doshi taking four for 30.

Middlesex had a bad start as Weekes fell cheaply to Azhar Mahmood. Clarke took the next wicket of Compton and also removed Styris and Malan to leave Middlesex 65 for five. Doshi took the wicket of Scott and then removed danger man Billy Godleman for 30, who top scored for Middlesex. Doshi also picked up the wickets of Louw and Peploe as Middlesex were bowled out for just 115 Doshi finished with four for 22.

Surrey lost Brown early for 11. Benning and Ramprakash took the score to 56. Ramprakash fell leg before wicket to Louw who also dismissed Clarke for four. However a partnership of 54, between Benning and Mahmood guided Surrey to victory. Benning hit 61 not out from just 33 balls, while Mahmood scored 22 not out.

Surrey openers James Benning and Ali Brown gave Surrey a blazing start as they put on Brown fell for 44, while Benning top scored for the Brown Caps with 66 from just 36 balls, which included 9 fours and three sixes. Ramprakash and Azhar Mahmood both hit scores in the thirties, while Clarke hit 27 not out to help Surrey reach a massive score of 217 for 4.

Stevens fell early on for 2 as he was caught by Doshi with Murtagh taking the wicket. Hall, Dexter and Key all fell in quick succession as Kent staggered to 43 for 4. Walker and Van Jaarsveld then added 29. Walker fell for 21 when he was caught by Mahmood with Clarke the bowler. Doshi took the next two wickets ofHnenderson and Tredwell and when Van jaarsveld was caught and bowled by Clarke for 39, the Kent resistance finished. They were finally bowled out for 157, with Clarke taking three wickets. Surrey won by a huge margin of 60 runs. This result means that Surrey quality for the quarter final stage and will travel to Gloucester on July the 24.
