Clarke appointed vice-captain

Rikki Clarke has been appointed as vice captain to Mark Butcher for the 2006 season.
Clarke is currency touring with the England A team to the West Indies. Clarke has played two test matches and 17 one day internationals for England.
Last season he scored two champion centuries, with an average of over 40, while taking 18 wickets.
