The lions will never roar again

The Surrey lions is no more! As from the start of the season, Surrey will be known as the Brown caps in limited overs matches.
After a proposal by the club, and then an endorsement from members, the name the Surrey lions, which was first used in 1997 will be abolished.
In a poll on the official Surrey website, 71% voted to change the name to the Brown caps.
