Kevin Pietersen will not feature in the World Twenty20 this autumn, out in Sri Lanka, after England announced both the squad to defend their trophy, and also the squad to play South Africa in the upcoming one day series......

Pietersen had hoped his last ditch attempt to put the text saga to bed, would lead to a recall, but the ECB will not budge and have left the man of the series from 2010, when England won the tournament, out of their squad to defend their title.

There is a recall to the T20 squad for both Michael Lumb, now with Nottinghamshire, and also Sussex's Luke Wright, both who featured in that win out in Barbados.

England NatWest ODI Series squad - Cook, Anderson, Bairstow, Bell, Bopara, Bresnan, Dernbach, Finn, Kieswetter, Morgan, Patel, Swann, Trott & Woakes

England NatWest International T20 squad - Broad, Bairstow, Bopara, Bresnan, Briggs, Buttler, Dernbach, Finn, Hales, Kieswetter, Lumb, Morgan, Patel, Swann & Wright

England squad for ICC World T20 - Broad, Bairstow, Bopara, Bresnan, Briggs, Buttler, Dernbach, Finn, Hales, Kieswetter, Lumb, Morgan, Patel, Swann & Wright
