The ICC Champions Trophy returns to England later in 2013, and the ICC are now seeking volunteers to assist in the smooth running of the event....

Whilst many of us would be dreaming of being involved as a player there is an opportunity for you to be involved through the Cricketeers Volunteer Programme. We are looking for up to 900 Cricketeers (volunteers) to support the tournament.

The Cricketeers will be the face of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, meeting and greeting the spectators, supporting on field entertainment, ground staff to media operations.

Not all roles will be high profile, or close to the cricket however all are vitally important in supporting the Champions Trophy 2013. Volunteers are at the heart of successful events and the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 will be no different.

You will find all the information you need to register to become a Cricketeer via the linke below. Please take the time to read all information within the Volunteers section to ensure you meet the criteria to be a Cricketeer, it will also help you when coming to completing the application form.

I was one of the 2,600 who applied, but sadly not one of the 900 selected to by a Cricketeer, probably because I am not good enough.
