England's young opening batsman Joe Root, struck a superb 180 runs at Lord's to help set up England's victory charge, and help his side recover from 31-3 in their second innings....

It meant Alastair Cook could call his players in and set Australia a daunting 582 runs to try and win the Lord's test match.
