England have suffered an horendous second day in Brisbane, to leave themselves on the verge of losing the opening Ashes test match, having lost six middle order wickets for just nine runs.......
Havin taken the last two Australia wickets to fall early in the morning, to leave the hots 295 all out, England then made a steady start to reach 82-2 in reply, and looking in a strong position to mount a chance for victory.
However, an inspired spell of fast bowling from Mitchell Johnson forced England to self implode and lose not only their way in the reply, but also set up a defeat in this opening bout.
First Ashes Test, Brisbane (day two): Australia 295 and 65-0 v England 136 - Australia lead by 224 runs
