England and Australia are locking horns at the Adelaide Oval in the Second Ashes test down under, with the hosts 1-0 up in the series. Sportnetwork are trying out their 'Live Update' application ahead of our trip to Melbourne and Sydney where you will be able to follow the team on their trip........
We are using the popular 'Spontly' application for our updates, and anybody who is travelling to Adelaide for the test, can contribute as well as ourselves who are sat watching at home.
For the entire test match, we will continue to 'trial' the application, but we are encouring those with an smartphone and going to the game, or watching at home, to also share their experience with us and our readers.
We won't be providing the normal text updates such as 'Trott pushes a single to the leg side' etc, but what this application does allow, is not just content to be uploaded, but pictures as well, so if you are in the crowd for the game or staying up late, you may well end up on our LIVE MATCH UPDATES section.
We urge anyone attending any of the games we are featuring now, to download the app, which is available in the Apple Store & on the Android market, and put your smartphone to good use on matchdays.
Once the application is installed and you are logged in, you can post images and any update to the service.
For those visitors to our website, who aren't at the game or near to a TV screen, and are following the game on the internet, all you need to do is visit the LIVE MATCH UPDATES section during the third day, and click on the relevant link.
We will be posting updates throughout the test match, so keep re-visiting as we try out our new application.
Download Spontly via following using your smartphone.
